Stamping and forming parts with up to 1,000 t of compressive force, sheet metal with a thickness ranging from 0.8 mm to 16 mm – these figures illustrate the incredibly wide range of services that our company provides. On a production area measuring roughly 26,200 m², approximately 320 employees produce over 15,000 t of steel, stainless steel and aluminium per year. On this basis, we generate an annual turnover of over 68 million euros.

Following a toolmaker’s apprenticeship and engineering studies at the University of Applied Sciences in Munich, Torsten Klimmer became a joint partner of Ernst Klimmer GmbH in 1997. Since 2008, Torsten Klimmer, son of the company founder, father of four children, is the second generation of the family to run the company. He follows one guiding principle: we want to be amongst the best in our sector.

Florian Demeter started with us as a precision mechanic. After his apprenticeship, he completed a dual Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering and has been Managing Director of Ernst Klimmer GmbH since 2022.

We supply our products to the automotive and electrical industry, for vehicle construction as well as to manufacturers of self-service systems located all over the world. With over 30 million produced flanges and clamps each year, we are not only one of the leading companies in the field of exhaust gas technology; we are the only company in the world to also produce all types of connections in-house. Our spectrum ranges from 12 mm-thick exhaust gas flanges, fine blanking flanges, sheet steel flanges through to complete pipe clamp connections.
